These stories are my life. They are all true. My life may seem like a roller coaster ride, filled with many ups and downs. But somewhere before the ups and after the downs is a period of peace. It is that constancy of peace that I am striving to maintain. That peace comes from faith in Jesus Christ. So I am reminded of Philippians 3:13-14:

   Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own;

but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind

and straining forward to what lies ahead,

I press on toward the goal

for the prize of the upward call

of God in Christ Jesus
